get active stay active

i was recently informed about a website call getactivestayactive.com. This website is a place for students to record how much physical activity they participate in each week. This is a great way for teachers to view how much physical activity their students do outside of class. For my class we have to put all physical activity we particapate in outside of our classes for bonus points. Obviously you can lie about what you do but it is a great tool to use for honest students. As a student you can track your activity and see if you are getting enough activity and what days you arnt. I will use this website when i teach someday.

I already had Fitness Education, and Dr. Nichols was the one who introduced me to this website. It's very easy to use, and I will also use it when I teach in the near future. Dr. Nichols made it extra credit if you recorded your physical activity on a daily basis, so it wasn't mandatory. I took this opportunity to not only get bonus points, but also to make sure I was active for at least 30 minutes a day. This website is great for kids of all ages and I think more people should know about it. I think more children and younger adults need to be aware of their physical activity level on a daily basis. This is why I agree that the website can be very useful.

This seems to be a very useful tool for a PE teacher, they could tell their students to visit the site and enter all of their actively in and out of the classroom. One way a PE teacher to fight Vs the obesity epidemic in our youth.
